Tony O’Shea is World Masters favourite

Tony O’Shea is the number one seed for the Winmau World Masters 2009, the year after the success of his career.

The England international bouts of the British Darts Organization and the World Darts Federation rankings.

The Lakeside Runner-up, O’Shea said so far, three titles in 2009 - the Scottish Open, BDO International Open and the Welsh Classic.

England team-mate Scott Waits is the second seed at the World Masters, from 4-6 September at Bridlington.

The other six men of seeds, competition for the BBC TV-finals of the Masters are: 3 Darryl Fitton (Eng), 4 Ted Hankey (Eng), 5 Martin Adams (Eng), 6 Montgomery Ross (SCO), 7 Steve West (Ang), 8th Joey Ten mountains (Ned).

The eight women seeds: Trina Gulliver (Eng), Irina Armstrong (Rus), Julie Gore (Wal), Tricia Wright (Eng), Francis Hoenselaar (Ned); Dee Bateman (Eng), Karin Krappie (Ned), Lisa Ashton ( Eng).
