Merrien loses her World Cup semi

Guernsey’s Alison Merrie was beaten in the semi-finals of the World Cup bowls in Australia.

Merrie title lost 7-5, 10-2 to New Zealand’s Jo Edwards at Warilla bowls, the club Wednesday.

“I’ve already played, but played much better than me,” she told BBC Radio Guernsey loss.

“My performance was not as good as I hoped. It has in the past two days, but he simply at the end of cooking. ”
