Down minors edge to Cavan victory

Niall McParland in a last gasp goal 2-16 to 2-14 win Dublin in the All-Ireland minor quarter-final in Cavan on Saturday.
Darragh Stapleton Dubs compensated for a start but Down fought and Ross McGarry’s goal, 1-8 to a 1-8 at the break.

Dublin advantage at the point of a fine McParland stopped for an injury to the second time.
Down Mayo is now in the semi-final in two weeks.
